SAUCE KID SET TO DROP ALBUM BY END OF JULY
After four years since he dropped his mixtape, Money Long: The Best of Both Worlds which spawned the hits Sanboribobo and Omoge, rapper Sauce Kid is finally set to drop his debut album.
The often-talked album which is titled African American is scheduled to hit stores later in the month and will feature previously released singles such as 'Monkey Banana' featuring Pype and 'Under G' produced by Don Jazzy.
The album which can be safely classified as Nigerias own mini-Detox album because of its numerous postponements has often left fans and critics wondering whether Sauce Kid was ever going to drop an album. After his brilliant display on his mixtape which earned him fame, recognition and a nomination at the 2007 Hip Hop World Awards many people touted Sauce Kid as the next big thing in Nigerian rap music.
However with no album in 4 years his career has been inconsistent. Although his stock has risen lately after signing a management deal with Storm Records late 2009.
