R&B singer, Chris Brown has been denied entry into the UK which has forced him to scrap his British tour. He was denied entry into the country because he had been found guiilty of a serious criminal offense.
The tour was supposed to have kicked off yesterday in Glasgow, followed by concerts in Birmingham, Manchester and London.
According to the tour promoters the tour was cancelled "due to unforeseen circumstances."
Concerning its refusal to allow the singer entry into the UK, the Home Office said "we reserve the right to refuse entry to the UK to anyone guilty of a serious criminal offence. Public safety is one of our primary concerns."
Last year, Chris Brown attacked his then girlfriend Rihanna in his vehicle on their way back from a Pre-Grammy party. He later pleaded guilty and was ordered to to perform 180 days of community service and attend domestic abuse counselling.
After the ugly incident involving him and Rihanna, the singer has been almost been regarded as an outcast in the music industry. He was refused entry into Drake's album listening party last month.
Chris Brown does however has the rights to appeal the decision. I wonder when this Issue will be over!
