Amber Rose May Be Pregnant With Fabolous’ Baby [RUMOR]

Kanye’s former arm-piece Amber Rose is reportedly pregnant, and the daddy is none other than Fabolous.

Here’s what I found out from mediatakeout.com:

According to a ROCK SOLID insider, Fab and Amber have been seeing each other OFF AND ON for about a year (yeah, even when she was seeing Kanye). The insider, who is CLOSE friends with Amber told MediaTakeOut.com, “She told me and [other people] that she’s pregnant.”

The “couple” was spotted arriving at Juliet Supper Club together with a couple of friends a few weeks ago. A few hours later, the pair went their separate ways with Amber leaving the Chelsea hotspot at 3 am, and Fab departing around 4 am. Making it seem as though they left “separately.”

Fab has spent the last few years living with his girlfriend, celebrity stylist Emily Bustamente, with whom he has a two-year-old son.

20 Things Men Don’t Know About Women

A friend of mine, a guy who used to occasionally step out on his woman and hook up with other girls, had the strangest theory about the female species.

“Women don’t cheat,” he told me, when I asked if he was ever worried she was doing the same thing to him. “It’s just not in their nature.” I just laughed. Of course, I was not at all surprised when he found out she’d been two-timing him for most of their relationship after their inevitable breakup, but he was completely shocked.

There are of course many things that men don’t know about women, mainly because we don’t want them to know, and so we try and keep them hidden really well. But during my two and a half years of interviewing countless ladies for Maxim‘s sex section, I discovered that there are many, many more things that we ladies keep hidden from men ...

When you’re not around, we fart. The longer, the louder and the stinker, the more enjoyable.

1. As soon as we are alone in the house—husband leaves for the office, kids go to school, roommate goes out of town—and we have quality free time knowing no one is going to walk in on us, we masturbate. Sometimes we even just do it if you’re still in the house if that quality free time is never going to come. Usually, it’s while we’re in the bathroom.
2. A good majority of us prefer to pee outside. And in the shower. And sometimes we really just want to do it in the hot tub, but we try to not do that one out of respect for everyone else in there.
3. We pluck stray hairs from our toes, our chin, our lips, moles on the backs of our legs and our nipples. And we really, really enjoy plucking a stubborn ingrown hair. Getting that sucker out is, for some gross reason, such sweet satisfaction.
4. When we’re in love, we smell your clothes or the pillow you were sleeping on when you’re not around. If you were to catch us doing this, we’d be mortified.
5. We’ve all wished that we could be more open and casual about sex from time to time … maybe go to a swingers party, have a threesome or be a dirty stripper for a night, but with no emotional consequences.
6. Deep down we really hope that your guy friends secretly want to sleep with us, and very often we will dress for them and subtly flirt just so they will. We don’t want to bone them; we just want them to want us.
7. We are not insulted in the slightest by those catcalls from construction workers, as long as they aren’t rude or nasty. It’s kind of flattering. We also like it when you get a little jealous, to a degree. Not in an irrational or psycho way, just a bit to show you’re protective and you care.
8. We regularly check in on what our exes are up to via Facebook, emails or texts. As long as we have the technology, they will never be fully out of our lives or minds. This doesn’t mean we still love them; we’re just curious.
9. When we have girls’ nights, we do bad things that you wouldn’t approve of like spill all of your embarrassing secrets, sneak cigarettes or other substances, and drink way more than we let on. Grinding with strangers at a club can also sometimes occur.
10. When you’re not around, we fart. The longer, the louder and the stinkier, the more enjoyable.
11. If you’re really hot or the sex is good, you can be a total idiot and we’ll still date you for a while. But we’ll never marry you. Brains and kindness will always trump sexiness when it comes to marriage material.
12. A lot of times we really like to have sex on the first date to determine whether the chemistry is there and we should have another date. Or sometimes we’re just plain horny and want to get laid. We hate being judged for it.
13. We hate waxing our privates. Hate it, hate it, hate it. But, we like that when it’s cleaned up you go down on us more readily. In a perfect world, you would go down on us with regularity on naturally poofy pubes.
14. When a guy says he doesn’t want kids, it’s really a dealbreaker for almost every woman who is still of child-bearing years.
15. The majority of us don’t really care about how much money you have or make as long as you are kind and emotionally generous and work hard. Laziness and lack of motivation is inherently unsexy.
16. A lot of us are fakers … when it comes to our love of sports and being outdoorsy.
17. We love flaws on guys. A little belly, gray hairs, even a receding hairline. It reminds us that we all have body issues and that we shouldn’t be so insecure or hard on ourselves. Being human is cool. But being whiny about your paunch or constantly fussing over your gray temples is as annoying as us always asking, “Does this make me look fat?”
18. During sex, we’re usually thinking about something other than you. A gross and pervy situation, another man, being dominated … who knows, but we always, always fantasize. It doesn’t mean we’re not sexually attracted to you, we just need the weird mental images to get us off.
19. We don’t consider drunk kissing cheating, as long as we’re the ones doing the drunk kissing. We consider sex with another man cheating.
20. We cherish our independence and “me” time more than you’ll ever know. We say we miss you, but are often secretly glad you’re going so we can just totally relax and be ourselves. But we still love it when you come back.

Jojo is Back with- "IN THE DARK"

The wait is over. Four years after the release of her sophomore album The High Road, JoJo makes her much-awaited return to music. Not even label drama can stop the 19-year-old songstress from shining bright on “In the Dark,” the first offering from her mixtape Can’t Take That Away From Me, premiering September 7 exclusively on Rap-Up.com.

“I think ‘In the Dark’ is different than anything people have heard from me before,” JoJo says of the song, which was produced by Jordan Gatsby and co-written by JoJo and Gatsby. “It’s a very sensual record and there’s an undertone of sadness to it.”

The track’s experimental sound does not necessarily reflect the material on her upcoming third studio album All I Want Is Everything. Instead, it’s a thank you to her loyal fans who’ve stuck by her throughout the years.

Heidi Montag Sex Tape -- Pre and Post-Op

0820-heidi-montag-getty-2-credit

Sources close to the deal tell us that the proposed Heidi sex tape would include footage from both before "The Hills" star had extensive work done and after. So in some of the footage she probably makes a lot of different facial expressions and in the rest ... not so much.

As we first reported ... Heidi's soon-to-be ex, Spencer Pratt, is shopping around a Heidi sex tape to Vivid Entertainment that supposedly "makes Kim Kardashian look like an amateur."

Lady Gaga Considering New Song with T.I.

Lady Gaga’s highly-anticipated collaboration with T.I. is in limbo. The pop perfectionist may be scrapping the current song she recorded with the rapper so she can create something even more spectacular.

The unnamed T.I.-Gaga record was set to appear on his album King Uncaged, but its future is in jeopardy. “[Gaga] brought it to my knowledge that she would like to top what we already have,” Tip exclusively told Rap-Up.com. “That being said, I don’t know if that’s going to be a keeper or if that’s going to be one-upped or what not.”

The King of the South considers the megastar to be “a phenomenal talent and a wonderful lady,” joking that he had to beg to score some of her precious time. “I begged on hands and knees, please!” he laughed.

T.I. explained how their paths crossed when Rap-Up TV interviewed him at the MTV Movie Awards in June. “I worked with the producer RedOne and made it known that I was interested in working with her and the enthusiasm was shared, and we were able to get it done.”

In addition to Gaga, Tip also mentioned that he was recently in the studio with Kanye West in Hawaii. “It went wonderfully,” he said of their sessions. “We recorded six to seven songs in two to three days.”

New Singles: Keri Hilson – ‘Breaking Point’

Fellas, don’t cross Keri Hilson. The blonde bombshell is tired of the excuses and has reached her “Breaking Point,” as she sings on the first single from her sophomore album No Boys Allowed, due later this year. The vintage-sounding record was written by Keri and produced by Timbaland. A video will be shot in Atlanta in early September.

“Keri’s intense focus on No Boys Allowed has been inspiring to both Timbaland and I, in and out of the studio,” says Zone 4 President Polow Da Don, who also co-executive produced the project. “This will definitely be one of the best albums of 2010/2011.”

Listen to Miss Keri’s ladies’ anthem below and tell us what you think!

Eminem Back at No. 1, ‘Recovery’ Goes Double Platinum

Eminem has a lot to be thankful for this summer. The Detroit rapper reclaimed his spot atop the Billboard 200 albums chart this week with his seventh studio effort Recovery.

The disc, initially released in June, also achieves its eighth consecutive week of selling at least 100,000 units, bringing its grand total to a whopping 2.1 million copies. As a result of the surge in sales, Slim Shady’s latest album earns double platinum status.

To date, Recovery is the second best-selling album of 2010 behind Lady Antebellum’s Need You Now (2.5 million). Besides his album accolades, Em’s Rihanna-assisted single “Love the Way You Lie” also moves into the No. 1 position on the Digital Songs chart.

At this point last year, no albums had sold more than two million units, according to Billboard. Six have reached the million mark this year, including Usher’s Raymond v. Raymond, which went platinum this week after selling an additional 15,000 copies.

Chelsea Clinton Weds Longtime Marc Mezvinsky

Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton and longtime beau Marc Mezvinsky were wed Saturday "in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts," a 50-acre estate in Rhinebeck, New York, according to her parents.

"We could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate the beginning of their life together, and we are so happy to welcome Marc into our family," former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a statement.

"On behalf of the newlyweds, we want to give special thanks to the people of Rhinebeck for welcoming us and to everyone for their well-wishes on this special day."

The confirmation by the Clintons put to rest a slew of speculation on where and when the nuptials would take place.

"Today, we watched with great pride and overwhelming emotion as Chelsea and Marc wed in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts, surrounded by family and their close friends," the statement said.

The interfaith ceremony -- Clinton is Methodist and Mezvinsky is Jewish -- was led by Rabbi James Ponet and the Rev. William Shillady, the family said. The groom wore a tallit, or prayer shawl, and a yarmulke.

A friend of the couple read the Leo Marks poem "The Life That I Have," according to the family.

The bride -- as predicted -- wore a dress designed by Vera Wang, the family said.

The strapless dress had a swirling silk organza ball skirt and train, and was accented by an embellished belt.

Clinton had been spotted by Women's Wear Daily outside the designer's showroom in New York earlier this week, and Wang was spotted in Rhinebeck on Saturday.

Hillary Clinton wore a pink gown by Oscar de la Renta, the family said.

Jim Valli and his band performed at the reception, and the couple's good friend, Tim Blane, played at the rehearsal dinner, according to the Clinton family. The reception was catered by The St. Regis, the rehearsal dinner by Blue Ribbon.

Hundreds of curious onlookers -- along with hordes of reporters and cameramen -- gathered Saturday at the main intersection of the tiny New York town in hopes of catching a glimpse of celebrities and dignitaries attending the wedding.

Well-heeled wedding guests wearing floor-length gowns and tuxedos were seen boarding shuttles to take them to what one event planner billed as "the wedding of the century."

Storefront windows displayed signs reading "Congratulations Marc & Chelsea" and similar messages.

Nigerian Constitution amendment inconclusive —Sagay

A constitutional lawyer, Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN), has said that the real work on the amendment of the country’s constitution is yet to commence.

Sagay, who stated this as a guest lecturer at the third Michael Opeyemi Bamidele birthday lecture in Lagos on Tuesday, also accused members of the National Assembly of abandoning the interest of the nation for their selfish motives.

The lecture was titled, “The status and role of a legislature in a democratic society” and was part of the activities to mark the 47th birthday of the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Opeyemi Bamidele.

The lecture was organised by friends of the commissioner just as Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola, who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Princess Adenrele Adeniran-Ogunsanya attended the event.

Other guests include the chairman of the event, Dr. Amos Akingba; the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu; his colleague from Iyin-Ekiti, in Ekiti State, Oba Ademola Ajakaiye; Action Congress governorship candidate in Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, and member of House of Representatives, Mr. Moruf Akinderu-Fatai.

According to Sagay, the glaring failure of the National Assembly members to address the crucial issue of true federalism has made mockery of the whole exercise.

He said, “In my view, the real work on the amendment or alteration of the constitution is yet to be commenced.

“From all indications, such work will not be undertaken by the present National Assembly, it will be the task of a future one.

Sagay said instead of serving the people for whom they ought to be representing at the National Assembly, the legislatures were engaged in the pursuit of self-interest to a degree that could only be regarded as shocking.

N4bn cocaine haul: Enugu lawmakers, NDLEA officials meet

Members of the Enugu State on Tuesday met with the State Commandant of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, A.R. Apeh, over a report in a national daily (not The PUNCH), linking six of its members to the seizure of N4bn worth of cocaine at the Tin Can Island Port, Apapa.

The report had stated that the Tin Can Island Police Command claimed that six Enugu lawmakers were linked to the importation of over 450kg of the illicit substance.

Apeh, who was accompanied to the assembly complex by another top official of the NDLEA, met with the 24 lawmakers in a closed door session.

At the end of the one-hour meeting, the Speaker, Mr. Eugene Odo, told journalists that the lawmakers would investigate the matter.

The chairman of the House Committee on Information, Mr. Marcel Njeze, who later addressed a press conference, asked the newspaper which reported the story to furnish the assembly with the names of members linked to the drug scandal or face legal action.

“We have contacted the director and another member of the drug agency in Enugu and they told us that no such file was transferred to them. They even stated that no arrest had been made over the issue

He said, “Our attention has been drawn to a publication linking six members of the house of assembly to an illicit drug importation amounting to N4bn.”

“Fortunately, today is our day of sitting. And fortunately also, the 24 members of the state house of assembly were present. So, we decided to enquire from every member if there was anyway in which any of them was involved in the matter.

“The answer we got was that no member of the Enugu State House of Assembly had anything to do with the importation of cocaine or contraband goods into this country.”

He did not, however, allow journalists access to the NDLEA officials.

DMX Is Going To Jail Again

Rapper DMX is heading back to jail just weeks after serving a four-month stint behind bars for a probation violation.

The gravel-voiced hip-hop star is planning to surrender to authorities and begin serving time in Los Angeles in connection to a reckless driving conviction eight years ago.

TMZ.com reports DMX was placed on probation after he pleaded no contest to the crime, which he has since violated and has been ordered to serve 90 days behind bars.

The rapper's manager insists her client, real name Earl Simmons, is "focused" on taking care of all of his past legal issues so he can move on with his life.

It's a dark time for DMX - the recently separated from his wife, according to reports.

Tashera Simmons, who wed the rapper in 1999, has stood by her husband throughout his legal troubles, but has decided enough is enough, according to Allhiphop.com.

Tashera is said to have confirmed the separation to the website and announced plans for a new reality TV series, which will show her rebuilding her life with the couple's four children following the split.

Dr. Dre Sued For $1.2 Million

Rap mogul Dr. Dre is facing a $1.2 million lawsuit for allegedly failing to pay for studio time.

The legendary producer is being sued by Paramount Recording Studios in California for breach of contract.

In a lawsuit filed at Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, the claimants allege that Dre - real name Andre Young - failed to pay for the use of a recording studio between April 2009 and June 2010. The papers claim that Young promised to pay the amount by July 13th, but failed to do so.

It is reported the rapper has used the recording studio for a decade and got a cheaper rate on the space.

Eminem Says: 'I Don't Know How To Use A Computer'

I can't believe that my mentor and my god-father, Eminem refuses to learn about the ways of the Internet because he'd drive himself mad with the comments of his online critics if he knew how to surf.

The "Stan" rapper admits he has no idea about navigating cyberspace - and he'd like to leave it that way.

He employs someone to keep his Twitter.com account updated and only checks out YouTube.com clips when friends email them to him.

He says, "If I learn how (to use a computer), I'm going to be on that b--ch all day looking at comments about me, and it's going to drive me crazy."

Wyclef Jean Once Again Considers Running For President Of Haiti

Wyclef Jean is reconsidering running for president of his devastated homeland Haiti, according to his charitable foundation.

The former Fugees star has been instrumental in ensuring the Haitians left homeless by the massive earthquake in January have aid, and has built temporary shelters through his Yele Haiti organization.

Jean's dedication and service prompted many to call for him to step into politics, but he initially shrugged off the idea, saying, "If I take a job being a president, I can't do as much as I'm doing for my country."

However, according to CNN, the star has filled out the relevant paperwork in case he wants to put himself forward as a presidential candidate in the 2010 elections, pondering during a telephone interview, "I can't sing forever."

But a statement from his foundation adds that Jean is yet to come to a final decision: "Wyclef's commitment to his homeland and its youth is boundless, and he will remain its greatest supporter regardless of whether he is part of the government moving forward. At this time, Wyclef Jean has not announced his intent to run for Haitian president. If and when a decision is made, media will be alerted immediately."

Rihanna Connected With Eminem's Song About An Abusive Relationship

Rihanna was drawn to duet with Eminem on his powerful new track "Love The Way You Lie" because she "connected" with the song's references to an abusive relationship.

The "Umbrella" hitmaker lends her vocals to the rapper's new single, which focuses on domestic violence, and features the lyrics, "I laid hands on her/I'll never stoop so low again/I guess I don't know my own strength."

And Rihanna admits she instantly "understood" the song because of her experiences with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, who famously attacked the singer last year.

She tells Access Hollywood, "It's something that, you know, we've both experienced...on different sides, different ends of the table. He (Eminem) pretty much just broke down the cycle of domestic violence and it's something that people don't have a lot of insight on.

"I knew if he sent me a record there must be something to it. It couldn't just be, 'Oh, Duh! She was in that relationship so we have to get her.' The lyrics were so deep, so beautiful and intense. It's something that I understood, something I connected with."

Foxy Brown Busts Out at B.B. King’s....lookin' soooooo! ugh!

Foxy Brown may be making headlines for her questionable behavior, but on Sunday she turned the focus back to her music during a rare concert at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York City’s Times Square. The Ill Na Na performed old-school classics such as “Hot Spot,” “Get Me Home,” and “Oh Yeah” with special guests Spragga Benz, Cormega, and AZ.

The gig comes after the rap diva’s arrest last week for allegedly violating a protection order by bad-mouthing a neighbor (the one she was accused of hitting with a BlackBerry in 2007) and then flashing her bottom. Foxy maintains her innocence. “That is what we think this is about, people kind of jealous and hating,” said her manager Bernadette Brennan.

Miss Keri has been in the studio prepping her sophomore album, for which she’s recorded with Polow Da Don, Timbaland, and Danja. “We didn’t want to rush this one,” she shared. “I wanted it to be as organic and as emotional as the first one.”

Nas Speaks On Next Album & Divorce

After reminiscing about the old days, Esco salutes Drake and says that Swizz Beatz, DJ Premier, Alchemist, Dr. Dre, Kanye West and RZA have reached out to work on his next album. Whoa. Towards the end, he attempts a freestyle and then laments on his divorce from Kelis for the first time.

Katy Perry Is Naked On Her New Album Cover

On Wednesday, July 21st, renowned contemporary artist Will Cotton unveiled his recently completed portrait of chart-topping recording artist, Katy Perry. Katy was present for the unveiling in the artist's Lower East Side, Manhattan studio. The painting will also be featured as the cover of Katy's new album, "Teenage Dream," scheduled for US release on August 24th.

The recording artist first contacted the painter five months ago to share her enthusiasm for his work. It was kismet or destiny as Cotton, a confirmed Katy fan, had long considered making her the subject of one of his confectionary landscape paintings. The resulting portrait was chosen by Katy to grace the cover of her newest release and it is recreated in live action as one of the scenes in her current video for "California Gurls," which has been #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the last six weeks. Cotton's work serves as the inspiration for the visuals in the hit music clip-- with his trademark cotton candy clouds, candy stick forests, and gingerbread cabins prominent features of the fantasy scenery.

Teenage Dream is Katy's much awaited follow-up to her 2008 multi-platinum release "One Of The Boys" which featured the hit singles "Hot N Cold", "Waking Up In Vegas" and "I Kissed A Girl". After her experience collaborating with the artist on her portrait, the singer-songwriter was enthusiastic to use more of his imagery as a visual component of her newest project. "California Gurls" video director Matthew Cullen and Motion Theory embraced the idea, enlisting Cotton as Artistic Director on the project, to recreate the artist's images for the popular clip. Cotton recreated some of the work personally, including creating the board game played by Snoop Dogg in the video, and worked with set designer Teri Whittaker to create scenery based on his artwork. The video is so popular it has received 18 million views in four weeks on YouTube.

While he does not consider himself a portrait artist, Cotton has depicted a few notable figures in his paintings, such as Tom Ford and Marie-Chantal of Greece. The Katy portrait and the resulting video has focused considerable public attention on an artist long recognized by art world cognoscenti and featured in important private and public collections across the globe. Said Cotton, "My collaboration with Katy started out as a mutual admiration society. I'm delighted that my paintings are the inspiration for this video. My work is about creating a utopia where all desire is fulfilled all the time, but where pleasure and delight can turn dark and dystopic. Katy embodies the archetypes that I look for in a subject. It was thrilling to work with her and to see her inhabit my landscapes."

"The day I found Will Cotton, I knew I wanted to live in his cinematic cotton candy world. A fantastically art-directed music video and one piece of timeless album artwork later, I can proudly say I am more than a fan. Will has been a sweetheart every step of the way and always open to collaborative ideas. I'm so happy to have discovered his candy-land, and so excited about our creative future together" states Katy.

First Look at Eminem and Rihanna’s ‘Love the Way You Lie’ Video

Eminem and Rihanna proved to be a potent force on the singles chart. The pair’s collaboration “Love the Way You Lie” dethroned Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” for the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. This is Eminem’s second No. 1 single from his album Recovery (the first being “Not Afraid”) and fourth overall. It also becomes Rihanna’s seventh No. 1 since “S.O.S.” in 2006, the most by any artist during that period of time.

Rap Radar has shared the first photo from the Los Angeles set of the video. According to E!’s Marc Malkin, Megan Fox and “Lost’s” Dominic Monaghan play the lead roles in the Joseph Kahn-directed clip. “It gets really intense,” Malkin’s source says about the steamy scenes.

South African Researchers Create Gel That Protects Women From HIV

JOHANNESBURG — South African research that helped produce a promising anti-AIDS gel will change the nature of the fight against the disease, the head of the university that pioneered the research said Tuesday.

Malegapuru Makgoba, vice chancellor at the University of KwaZulu-Natal on South Africa’s east coast, described the project that created the vaginal gel as a “milestone” for impoverished women, policymakers and scientists in combatting the disease that has plagued the African continent for three decades.
“These research findings will not only significantly alter the shape and form but also the future direction of this devastating epidemic,” Makgoba told reporters in the port city of Durban, where most of the researchers are based.

South Africa, a nation of about 50 million, has an estimated 5.7 million people infected with HIV, more than any other country. It is the largest recipient of PEPFAR funds.

The researchers say the gel, known as a microbicide, can protect four out of ten women from HIV infection.

The gel, spiked with the AIDS drug tenofovir, cut the risk of HIV infection by 50 percent after one year of use and 39 percent after 2 1/2 years, compared to a gel that contained no medicine.

Additional results proved that the gel was effective in preventing 51 percent of genital herpes infections in women.

Scientists believe the cheap and easy-to-use gel could be useful for “women who are unable to successfully negotiate mutual faithfulness or condom use with their male partners,” said Dr. Quarraisha Abdool Karim, a leading researcher and co-director of the South African gel program.

She said young women in South Africa bore the brunt of HIV infection.

The study had asked nearly 900 women volunteers in rural areas around Durban to use a gel — some being dummy samples — up to 12 hours before sex and within 12 hours afterward.

At the end of the 30-month trial period, 60 of the 444 women who received dummy gel were infected with HIV while only 38 of the 445 women who used the tenofovir gel were HIV-positive, reflecting a reduction of nearly 50 percent of the HIV infection rate.

California-based Gilead Sciences Inc., which donated the tenofovir used in the study, will allow a nonprofit and a research organization to produce the drug royalty-free for the 95 poorest countries in the world, said an official from the Gilead Foundation, the company’s philanthropic arm.

The biggest cost of the gel is the plastic applicator — about 32 cents, which hopefully would be lower when mass-produced, researchers said.

Lil Kim Disses Foxy Brown, Declares War on Nicki Minaj & Cash Money !

The Brooklyn Queen B recently sat down with AOL's Black Voices and revealed feelings toward Foxy Brown, Nicki Minaj and bad business dealings with Cash Money Records.

Though the two haven't spoken in years, Kim and Foxy Brown's relationship is still on a bumpy path.

"I don't even want to mention her," Kim told Black Voices. "No, because she's just somebody that's just... No, I don't even want to mention her. One moment she got something bad to say about me, one moment she got something good to say."

Kim went on to say her flip-flopping ways will not be tolerated and past experiences with Foxy showed her true colors. She even suggested that Foxy's behaivor is a sign she's still crazy.

The Brooklyn spitter also reassured her fans that she's returning to claim her spot, specifically the money she left behind when certain events unfolded during her career.

"I'm coming back to get the money that I left on the table when I went to jail," Kim declared. "The money that I left on the table when me and [Junior] M.A.F.I.A. broke up. The money that I left on the table after Biggie died, I'm coming back to get all of it. And not only that, I'm coming back to give my fans what they truly deserve, this is for them."

The bigget gripe thus far might be the bad business dealings between her and Cash Money Records.

Last year, Cash Money label head Baby put her and Nicki Minaj on a track titled, "Grindin' Making Money," but pulled the record out due to a lukewarm response.

The move left a bad taste in Kim's mouth and she is now claiming war on those that don't have her best interests.

Nelson Mandela Celebrates 92nd Birthday

A South African community once riven by anti-foreigner violence came together Sunday in the spirit of Nelson Mandela to play a little soccer.
In this photo supplied by Peter Morey Photography, showing Nelson Mandela looks at his birthday cake, as he celebrates his birthday in Johannesburg, South Africa, Sunday July, 18, 2010. Mandela, who turned 92-years old on Sunday and is largely retired from public life, was spending the day with his family.

The so-called "goodwill games" were among activities around the world marking Mandela Day, which falls on Mandela's July 18 birthday and was conceived as an international day devoted to public service. Community leaders in Atteridgeville organized the unity-building tournament of teams of South Africans, Zimbabweans, Mozambicans and Somalis who all live in this poor, black neighborhood on the western edge of South Africa's capital.

Mandela, who turned 92 years old on Sunday and is largely retired from public life, was spending the day with his family in Johannesburg. Early Sunday, his wife went to an orphanage in Soweto to help plant a vegetable garden.

"Today is an opportunity for millions of people around the world to look inside themselves and find those beautiful qualities as any human being has and say: `I am able to make a difference to my neighbor, to someone underprivileged, I can extend my goodness to other people,'" Mandela's wife Graca Machel said Sunday.

She said that while her husband was no longer so physically strong, "his spirit is strong as ever."

President Jacob Zuma and other government officials were marking the day in Mandela's birthplace of Mvezo by planting trees and painting class rooms in that far southern region of the country that is among the poorest in South Africa.

In a speech in Mvezo, Zuma said Mandela taught South Africans that "we must work together to entrench African unity and solidarity in our country."

He said South Africans had embraced visitors from the rest of the continent during the World Cup that ended a week ago. After their own national team was knocked out early, many South Africans cheered for Ghana, the African team that went the farthest in the tournament.

"We urge a continuation of this spirit of African unity, love and friendship," Zuma said.

President Barack Obama, in a statement released Sunday by the White House, wished Mandela a happy birthday.

"We are grateful to continue to be blessed with his extraordinary vision, leadership, and spirit. And we strive to build upon his example of tolerance, compassion and reconciliation," President Obama said.

He encouraged the public to heed the call to engage in some form of service to others, and said of Mandela, "We strive to follow his example of what it means to truly give back to our communities, our nations, and our world."

Mandela Day organizers in South Africa this year had called on citizens to, among other things, honor the anti-apartheid leader by devoting time to calming fears anti-foreigner sentiment could again erupt into widespread violence, as it did in Atteridgeville and across the country in 2008.

National police commissioner Nathi Mthethwa was in Atteridgeville Sunday. He kicked a ball around with young men on a dusty field next to a cemetery before the tournament began. Earlier, he addressed a crowd of about 1,000 on the field. Mthethwa said Mandela had taught South Africans about the need for unity and cohesion.

The people of Atteridgeville listened intently to Mthethwa, some recording him on their mobile phones, as he spoke in a mixture of Sotho and English. He said other Africans had supported South Africans in the fight against apartheid, and now were bringing skills and resources that would help build the economy.

"My brother from another mother is still my brother," Mthethwa said. "My sister from another mother is still my sister."

In 2008, protests over lack of homes, schools, jobs and clinics for the poorest South Africans erupted into anti-foreigner rioting. More than 60 people were killed — two in an Atteridgeville squatter camp — in weeks of sporadic violence scattered in squatter camps and other impoverished areas across South Africa.

Sociologists trying to explain what happened pointed to decades of vilification of other black Africans by the white government during the apartheid years, and competition now for scarce resources as people from poorer, less stable countries to the north come to South Africa in search of opportunity.

Researchers at Johannesburg's University of the Witwatersrand have found cases where local political leaders or businesspeople organized attacks on foreigners, either to consolidate political power or eliminate economic competition.

Such conditions have not eased, but the scale of the 2008 attacks has not been revisited despite reports in recent weeks of new threats to foreigners.

Sunday, as Mthethwa listened, a master of ceremonies led a call and response in Atteridgeville:

"Away with xenophobia, away!"

"Away!" the crowd responded, before local religious, political, business and other leaders presented the police commissioner with a signed pledge to build a "united, nonracial, nonsexist, democratic, prosperous, humane and caring society."

2011: INEC to rely on Iwu’s voter register

The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega, on Tuesday gave an indication that the commission might rely on the existing voter register for the conduct of the 2011 elections.

While swearing-in 16 out of the 19 resident electoral commissioners at INEC Headquarters in Abuja, Jega said that one of the priorities of the electoral body was the display of the existing voter register across the country.

He told RECs that the success of the exercise depended on them and therefore warned them not to receive any form of assistance from state governments without clearance from INEC headquarters in Abuja.

The INEC boss said, “As we move towards the general elections, one of the most important priorities facing us now is to display the existing voter register.

“The success of this exercise would depend on you. You are, therefore, requested to make a serious assessment of your operational readiness and capabilities at the state and local government offices of INEC for this exercise, and for subsequent ones as we move towards the elections.”

Jega described the swearing in of RECs as a one of the most important milestones in the “very serious obligation” towards repositioning INEC to deliver free, fair, and credible elections in 2011 and beyond.

To drive home this point, he said “The commission strongly believes that credible elections are not only feasible, but that it is incumbent upon all of us to strive to do our very best towards this objective.

“As you (RECs) receive your postings and go to your respective states, it is imperative that you bear this in mind.”

The INEC chairman also used the occasion to warn RECs to be wary of gifts from state government because reports reaching him about the relationship between RECs and state governments were not in the best interest of the commission.

He said, “The practice by some RECs in the recent past of going cap-in-hand to state governments for assistance is to be discouraged because it is capable of undermining your independence.

“RECs are advised to get in touch with the National Headquarters to address whatever problems they may face. Even in instances where assistance is freely offered as is done to other federal agencies, approval for accepting such assistance must be obtained from the commission.

“You will agree with me that such measures are essential in ensuring public confidence in your work.

“Part of the efforts toward repositioning INEC is a reflection on the past practices so as to learn from them.”

The warning came on the heels of revelations by the immediate past governor of Cross Rivers State, Mr. Donald Duke, that a system which leaves RECs at the mercy of state governments would surely lead to election rigging.

The INEC chairman appealed to all members of staff of the commission to join hands with him to ensure that the commission satisfied the yearnings of Nigerians for credible elections.

Just before the RECs inauguration, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Independent National Electoral Commission, Senator Isiaka Adeleke, had said that INEC would not organise a fresh voter registration exercise.

Adeleke, who also said that the commission would not use electronic machines for the 2011 poll, added that there was no time for a fresh voter registration to be conducted.

He told journalists in Ede, Osun State on Tuesday, that INEC would, however, revise the existing register.

The Senate committee chairman, who is the first civilian governor of Osun State, said the acquisition of electronic machines for the general elections would take between six and eight months.

Adeleke also explained that the 2006 Electoral Act had been amended to mete out a two- year jail term for election riggers.

Disclosing that the amended Electoral Act had been rechristened 2010 Electoral Act of Nigeria, he added that any candidate found to have perpertrated electoral violence or other irregularities would be barred from contesting election for a decade.

He revealed that Section 34, sub-section 2 of the 2006 electoral Act, which permitted political parties to substitute candidates 60 days to an election, was amended on the grounds that the section was exploited in the past by politicians to manipulate the selection of candidates after party primaries.

Adeleke said, ”The Senate and the INEC found out that most of the election dispute matters that ensued after the 2007 general elections had to do with internal democracy within the political parties. The selection of many of their candidates was fraudulent and that was why we altered Section 34 of the 2006 Electoral Act.

“This is to promote internal democracy within political parties. INEC and the Senate Committee on electoral commission would monitor the primary elections of the political parties, to ensure that they comply with the new Electoral Act. INEC and the Senate will democratise the selection of political parties‘ candidates.”

WITTY JOKES

Two men lived next door to each other for over 20 years but
they couldn’t have been more different. Sam was a model
citizen, church every Sunday, a parish counsellor and a
charity worker. Geoff was a drinker, gambler and a man for
the ladies. Eventually Geoff died, he was quite young but
the riotous life did him no favours. Then 15 years later, Sam
passed away and arrived in heaven where he was astonished
to see his ex-next-door neighbour lounging on a cloud, a
huge barrel of beer next to him and a naked lady sitting on
his lap.
“Why, that’s outrageous!” exclaimed Sam. ‘I strive to be a
good citizen on earth so that I might enjoy the fruits of
heaven and when I get here I see Geoff. He should have
been in hell.”
“Oh he’s in hell alright,” said the angel, “That beer barrel’s
got a hole in it…and the woman hasn’t.”

Dawn’s husband had just been cremated, the mourners had
gone home and she was left holding his ashes. She said to
the ashes, “Well, Dave, I’ve got a few things to say to you.
See this fancy ring on my finger, the one I always wanted
and the one you would never buy me? Well, I’ve bought it.
And you see this flashy leather handbag with matching
shoes? You always promised, but never got round to it. Well,
I’ve bought them too. She then tipped his ashes onto the
ground and blew on them, saying scornfully, “So there you
are, Dave, that’s the blow job you always wanted and never
got.”

On the day of Jack’s funeral, the undertakers took his coffin
up to the church in a coach and four black horses. Now the
church was at the top of a steep hill and suddenly, without
warning, the doors of the coach flew open and the coffin
careered back down the hill. By the time it reached the
bottom, it was going a fair pace and smashed through the
doors of the chemist shop, hitting the counter and bursting
open.
“Aaargh,” screamed the assistant as Jack sat up and said,
“Can you give me something to stop me coughing?”

21 suspected kidnappers, 25 cultists arrested in Abuja, Delta

The police and operatives of the State Security Service in the Federal Capital Territory have arrested a total of 21 suspected kidnappers and 25 cultists.

While the Delta Command of the Police picked up 17 suspected kidnappers and 25 culprits from different parts of the state, the SSS in Abuja nabbed four suspects who allegedly abducted a civil servant and a businessman.

The Delta suspects were paraded before newsmen in Asaba, the state capital, on Tuesday, as a prelude to their arraignment in court for prosecution.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Yakubu Alkali, gave the names of the victims of the suspected kidnappers to include Madams Afuenya Abaja and Elizabeth Ngeligu as well as Mrs. Stella Dafinone, Mrs. Queen Ogboru and Mrs. Malechi Odozi.

Alkali said the suspected kidnappers were apprehended from different locations in the state, adding that the feat was made possible by the support of members of the public who volunteered information to the security agency.

He said the gang which abducted Queen and Odozi had demanded N400,000 and N30,000 ransom sums respectively, before the police swooped on them at a hide-out.

He identified the suspected kidnappers to include, Fedelis Ojugbale, Chinedu Oruya, Ediki Ogeraga, Julius Onoameya, Odrehohwo Egieta, Lucky Atunusha, Henry Owokpite, Favour Akpowma and Nicholas Odu.

Others, according to Delta CP are: Fidelis Ochuko, Kelvin Itejere, Kelly Ochuko Jonathan, Joseph Enakpodia, and Daniel Akeghe.

Furthermore, Alkali stated that Madams Abaja and Ngeligu were kidnapped by a12-man gang at Umukwuata in Ukwuani Local Government Area of the state.

In the Abuja arrests, the suspects were at the point of collecting the N500,000 ransom they demanded from the families of their victims when they were nabbed by SSS operatives.

The members of the kidnap gang include Ifeanyi Chukwuka, Ezebunwa Ogbonna (a.k.a Oceanic), Nkem Nna, and James Chinweikpe.

Parading the suspected kidnappers in Abuja on Tuesday, the SSS Director, FCT Command Headquarters, Mr. Mike Fubara, said they had asked for a ransom of N50m through their leader, identified as Chukwudi who was still at large, before reducing it to N.5m.

According to Fubara, investigation have shown that most kidnap cases in the FCT were perpetrated by non –residents who lodged in small hotels in the suburbs, posing as construction workers which enable them to come and go at will without the management of such hotels suspecting their activities.

While promising that the service, alongside other security operatives would do everything possible to rid the FCT of such hoodlums, Fubara appealed to members of the public to always alert security operatives on the activities of persons they suspect.

Rihanna nude pics for real?

RihannaPictures have surfaced online that purport to be pictures of Rihanna in the nude. And they asure look like them. Rihanna has issued a statemnet but not a denial. See all the pics after the jump.

Riri was really devastated with the news! she even had to fly to Hawai & stayed there for some time.

This is what she said in her interview with KIIS FM:

Rihanna says she’s all for women taking naked photos of themselves while they are in their prime.

“In 20 years, you’ll regret it if you didn’t,” Rihanna said with a laugh during an interview with KIIS FM’s “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” on Tuesday.

The pop singer, who just released her new album, “Rated R,” last week, also confirmed reports that her pool man has seen her naked.

“Oh my God! These are all true [rumors],” she told Ryan. “I don’t like, flaunt my stuff to him. I just have no idea what day it is ever, so I never remember what day he comes and I’m always just walking around my house.”

The 21-year-old superstar said she likes to relax when she gets to her home in Los Angeles, but doesn’t often pay attention to the date that the pool cleaner is scheduled for a visit.

“He comes one day a week. I’m never in LA so when I come, I’m not thinking, ‘There’s a pool guy that’s going to come,’” she said. “[I’m come in], let me go to the refrigerator, grab a bottle of coconut water and then I turn around and it’s like, Frozen. Freeze.”

Rihanna, who will appear on “Saturday Night Live” this coming weekend, also confirmed to Ryan she was originally going to title her new album boldly as “Such A F*****’ Lady.”

“True. Very true, I was so disappointed, but the label was like, ‘Uh, Wal-Mart, that’s 75 percent of your albums, they’re not having that.’ I said, ‘What about ‘F-in’ [Lady]?’”

While Rihanna cleared up a few rumors with her visit to the DJ’s studio, she revealed her life is very different nowadays, when Ryan asked if things have gone back to “normal.”

“No,” she said. “It’s a different life. Normal? I wouldn’t say normal. It’s definitely more intense. Like everyday is another curve ball, but now I just know how to handle it, you know? Every time you get put under a situation it somehow seems to make you stronger in the end. Even though you don’t feel like it, you feel like this is the end of the world, it somehow works out.”

THE HALL- By Gbenga Aliu

....I was in a big hall, a very big one. Everything was blue. The seats, the long curtains..the walls, d deep blue carpet and all. The hall was well lit, and filled to capacity. The people in it were of various races, and countries. I heard languages; soft spoken, pleasant ones and aggressive, voracious ones. I smelt power. From where I sat I could see a desk that had a white plaque written "united states", and seated right behind it was The US President. I also saw a similar plaque written United Kingdom in front of Gordon Brown. I saw all the EU Leaders and their delegates. I then leaned forward to take a look at the South African president, right den was when I felt a tap on my shoulder....t'was my president saying hello as he walked past and sat right in from of me. From where I sat I could see the Ghanaian delegates with the president. Diplomatic pleasantries were being exchanged by everyone, with smiles on their faces, even if the parties didn’t mean love in their minds. Right up the hall I could see the translators' box as they were getting set to be involved in the fierce debate between world leaders over the protection of their countries in the present environmental crisis that has evolved over the years. Skin burning heat penetrated the skins of Africans and the people from the Middle East. The Asians either suffered earthquakes or tsunamis, in Europe and America, there was extreme cold. The most part of Australia and d micro islands had been submerged by water. There was shortage of food. Children in developing countries had begun to die of starvation; the governments had been too busy with other national issues to have noticed when mortality rates began to rise. AND NOW THERE IS FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN, AND THERE'S NOWERE TO RUN TO.

As the Secretary General came up d lectern to speak, perfect decorum filld d hall; was he coming to perform a magic with words dat`ll turn d situation of things around? This silence of great expectations made him shiver deep within him.at first he had enjoyd d prestige of office, now he has to play "Jesus" by carrying d problems of d world on his shoulder. Alone?!

As he spoke, I saw a sharp light flash across my face, and suddenly his heart looked like glass to me. Behold could see his conscience and his tots. I was quick to compose myself, in order not to miss out on what he was saying, yet this new supposedly new gift in me saw thru his conscience…he was weeping inwardly as he spoke. The Chairman later called on the Indian leader to speak, and then the Pakistani, then the Croatian, then the Indian, and then the Australian. My heart broke as I saw thru the hearts of these leaders…they totally loved and served their people whom they represented at this international gathering. As some of them spoke, they inwardly said a short prayer and wandered how deir citizens wer faring at back home. They all spoke with genuine passion and anguish. One leader practically got me sobbing were I was, his heart was so open and bright as all his general concerns, unlike the others, was staged towards the problems of everyone. He practically begged God, to save the World, and not just the US which he represented.

The first African leader to be called was my president, and then south-Africa’s and then the Gambia’s etc. As I looked thru the hearts of the majority of the African leaders, a fierce rage came up within me. While one of them spoke, he was thinking of how to take advantage of the disunity in his country by staying in power. Another leader was thinking of the call he was expecting from his finance minister after ordering d transfer of huge funds to his secret account. These leaders practically sold the education, health, good roads, electricity and wealth of their people for their personal enjoyment. Just then did I ask God for a little favor…”could You please kindly command the ground to swallow them up?” ….and as simple as this prayer was, I did it with all the faith within me.

As though, d chairman felt what I felt, he asked for me to be prepared to speak.

As I walked up to the lectern, I did it in a majestic manner; I walked past the Zimbabwean PM, and briefly gave him a look of pity. When I got to d lectern, with a frown, I looked at my president sharply, and den I saw fear. There was silence, so deafening, and I seemed to be in-charge. The world looked at me…and I looked at them back in the eyes….and it was a whole five minutes of dramatic silence. And I could see d hearts of everyone. I could see truth, I could see a lie, I could see beasts and I could see angels….oh…with my eyes did I see things in that gathering. And then, I began my speech in which I was to compromise, and den I made a decision to stand for what is right..and began to say the truth…. There was a loud roar in the room..and everyone in it came to a conclusion that “I was insane”.
